Marketing for Travel & Tourism DMOs is a strange bird. A traveler’s choices are nearly 100% optional and driven by marketing efforts, plus the fact that the interaction between a visitor and DMO comes with no direct exchange of money. Yet, the constituencies supported through tourism have become more and more in need of the positive economic impact that success can bring to a community.
